Samsung SLIQ

leeky and shiny, the Samsung SLIQ concept phone is one hot device. It features an advanced touchscreen interface, which like the LG Prada phone and Apple iPhone eliminates the standard keypad. The SLIQ has also got an extra wide LCD screen, 2-megapixel camera (with Schneider-Kreuznach lens), a video player, and document view capability.

When the phone is not in use, its glowing icons on the face of the phone disappear for a shiny black look all-around. This powerful phone also features a multitude of multimedia features, including an MP3 player, music multitasking function, and extra memory storage. The SLIQ is also super thin, at just 10mm thick, and was designed Mike Serafin.

Sony Ericsson Kiki Concept

It’s highly possible that such a see-thru or transparent glass will be exist in the near future. In the concept description, Sony Ericsson Kiki transparent display will allow images to be projected on the both side of the cell phone. Probably what you will get is a 3D-like display with images floating in the center. And as you may have figured out, the keypad is invisible. The concept said that the keypad will be visible only when the phone is turned on. Pretty much like a touch screen keypad because it has a smooth surface.

new EOS phone by Kyocera that brings an innovative new design style to the table and could inspire future handset makers in a myriad of ways. The unique design and the advanced features of this phone could make it the kind of thing that we’re likely to see a lot more of in the future assuming that the designers can work out some of the kinks associated with it. Although phones based on this original concept in the future will likely differ greatly from this one, the basic idea of the phone could definitely serve as a launching point for the handset designers of tomorrow. The three key features of note on this new phone are its flexible OLED display, its smart shape memory buttons and its use of kinetic energy power to self-charge.

Nokia E 97

Fabien Nauroy’s Nokia E97 concept shows incredible thought and a sleek phone. The concept has a full keyboard in “AZERTY” layout, with a small LCD screen above the keyboard. But the best part is the pull-out LED screen that can work as a storage device, and make file and picture sharing somewhat retro, and also futuristic.

Sony Ericsson PXi Concept Phone

The Sony Ericsson Pxi is only a concept phone  for now, it was designed by Bence Bogar and unlike what happens with the majority of the phones, it has the left-handers in mind.

Besides the 3.3-inch touchscreen that can work with a normal stylus, or with your finger, there is also a similar function to the iPhone which adjusts the screen depending on the position that you are holding the device. On top of the main touchscreen, there is a secondary screen (touch pad as well) so you can have easy access to the applications being currently used.
